 We are thrilled to announce the details for the 2025 Brister Family Reunion! This year’s reunion will take place in beautiful Green Cove Springs, Florida, from Friday, June 20th to Sunday, June 22nd. Our theme, “Camp Kinfolks,” celebrates our family roots and invites us to reconnect and retreat at the scenic Camp Chowenwaw Park. To embrace the spirit of the theme, we encourage everyone to wear camouflage patterns along with the family reunion T-shirt throughout the weekend.  

This Years Family Reunion will feature the following activities.

Day 1: Friday, June 20th (Arrival and Welcome) 

11AM – 3PM KinFolk Connections Location: Big Cabin Camp Chowenwaw Park (1517 Ball Rd, Green Cove Springs, FL 32043)

    o Men’s Fishing Fellowship (Camp Chowenwaw Park Dock)

    o Ladies Shopping Excursion (Van departs Camp Chowenwaw Park to St. Johns Town Center op air mall)

4PM – 8PM Welcome Family Fish Fry Location: Big Cabin Camp Chowenwaw Park (1517 Ball Rd, Green Cove Springs, FL 32043)

Day 2: Saturday, June 21st (Family Reunion Day) 

10AM – 12PM Camp Style Brunch (Brunch – breakfast items/hot dogs & Chips) Location: Big Cabin Camp Chowenwaw Park (1517 Ball Rd, Green Cove Springs, FL 32043)

12:30 – 2PM Family Team Challenge (Games)Location: Big Cabin Camp Chowenwaw Park (1517 Ball Rd, Green Cove Springs, FL 32043)

5PM – 6:30PM Family Dinner (Catered Sit-down Dinner)

6:30PM – 8PM Family Entertainment (Heritage Speaks and Family Feud)

Day 3: Sunday, June 22nd (Church/Farewell) 

10:30 AM Church Service (Hosted by New Hope Pentecostal)
